The wait (Day 13)

I am watching Mexico play against Puerto Rico in the second quarter final of the day. The score is 16-16 in the 1st game (by he time I posted this, Mexico had won 3-2). Argentina just beat the USA 3-2 to advance to the semis. But the highlight of the night is our women's soccer team winning gold by beating Brazil in the shootout. A lot of our guys went to watch.

Kind of a slow day today with only a training session this morning from 9:30 to 11:00. Vincent worked a lot on our blocking with very specific drills. Mostly positioning stuff for both our middles (we had a lot of problems last night against Puerto Rico) and for our outside blockers as well. 

The guys had the rest of the day off, very well deserved I might add. We will play tomorrow night at 7pm against the loser of one of the quarter finals.
